I've been going there for at least 20 plus years. I've moved 3 times and still take the drive. Love it!!!
My wife and sister-in-law have memories of the original D'Elia's in the sixties. We were in the LA for a wedding and had to stop bye to see if the sandwiches were just as good. According to my wife and sister-in-law they were just as good. I agree with them that the sandwiches are damn good. We got a chance to talk John Perrone one of the owners who made us feel right at home. Just wish there was a way to take D'Elia's Grinder back the east coast.
