RecommendedBeen going there for years (before this building). We love their bread. Our usual order, large Cappicola with x-tra red pepper plus red pepper packets on the side. Perfectly spicy. No one has bread like D'Elia's. My son ordered a cheeseburger. He said it was very good. Ate out on the patio with our puppy by our side.
For me, it's the bread. I find that this is usually the breaking point for most. Either they love the crispy bread, or they hate it (my shop is 3/2 in favor). Dbl Roast beef with extra pepper is my go to, add the Sweet Maui chips, Mr Pibb and we're set. Never had a bad experience, first time I ate here was 1974-75 with my brother Bill.

I ate these sandwiches since I was a girl. They are the very best. My hubby works at Bob and Al's in San Bernardino and once in a while he would bring me home a sandwich. Every time I am in Riverside, I get both of us a sandwich... Going there soon.
