We love Del Ray Animal Hospital! They truly care about animals and understand how important pets are to their families. They listens to our concerns and plan realistic courses of treatments for our two elderly cats. We highly recommend them!
This is a place that truly cares about the animals. When Pippa needed walk in care early in the morning and as a new Foster i wasn't sure where to go they didn't hesitate to help and put a new cast on her even though she had never been there before. Most places required an appointment and first visit fee when she needed immediate attention. They have since helped me several times as keeping her cast on has proven difficult. The staff was very courteous and provided sound advice. Our DVM, Margaret Bellows, asked the right questions, made a diagnosis, used adaptive thinking, provided additional suggestions, gave further direction, created a roadmap to recovery, and above all was loving and compassionate to our dog, Lily. My wife and I are grateful for the services rendered at Del Ray and will continue to confide in them moving forward.
Del Ray Animal Hospital is the very best veterinary hospital in the DC area. Their staff is compassionate and empathetic and never loses sight that attached to the leash/cat carrier is a human who needs clarity and an understanding of what is going on with their companion animals. Absolutely trusted Dr. Marsico Wright and Dr. Mixon Williams with my own dog and cat when I lived in the DC area. Wish that I was closer...I would definitely still go to this phenomenal practice

Brought in my very elderly cat who has multiple chronic conditions.... The staff is very competent, professional, and respectful of my pet. Dr Bellows was especially kind and quickly managed my pet. Awesome clinic!!
Had a fabulous experience! Brought my limping rescue Aussie in today, and the staff were so caring. She is usually very scared of strangers, and warmed up to both the assistant (Bebe, I think) and Dr. Bellows. Highly recommend them!

I took my last Lab here for YEARS and when he passed away the staff was amazing ... they really helped me through it all! And now I have a new love - and Dr. Bellows is her doctor.... Dr. Bellows is awesome! She really cares about her patients and had been very available when I needed some extra guidance my dogs health. THANK YOU all so much!!

Their doctors and staff are the best--compassionate and thorough in their treatment of our beloved pets. We've entrusted three dear pets to their care over the years. This last loss was the hardest ever, but they treated us and our beloved cat with loving, conscientious care to the very end and beyond.
