Hi people! Today I actually noticed that when I bought my car from Del mar Motor Cars It was a great experience! I barely realized it today when my bf went to go buy his truck at an Legacy Autos dealer. In El Cajon City. Those guys were horrible! but my bf still bought the car cause he really really did like it. So I felt the need to write a review for Del Mar Motor Cars. We visited a couple of times before buying our car from them. They were always very kind and insightful. They fixed a few things on the car before we bought it, and the car never had a problem - it's been 2 years. We are now in the market for a new/used car, and thought to contact them to see if they knew the best place to find what we are looking for since they currently do not have any of the particular model. I really do like this place...meet them and you'll see!

From the moment I stepped in the door I was treated with respect even though I was in work clothes and probably looked like I couldnt afford the car I was asking about. The easiest deal and car buying experience I have ever had. I'll be back in 3 years to Purchase my next vehicle from Del Mar Motor Cars. P.S. The coffee is excellent too!

I was the customer from hell and these guys bent-over backwards for me. I don't think it's fair to say exactly what they did for me because I'm sure they can't promise to accommodate every customer the same way. I had a good feeling about them, they had a good feeling about me and we were able to work a deal. There was no pressure from them. They have good cars at fair prices. Absolutely the worst, a nightmare! I would not recommend doing business with these people. They talked a good game and were slick up to the sale, after that, terrible! I bought a VW Beetle from them and dealt with Rob (the owner) when I went to pick up the car, he was conveniently on vacation and two other guys helped me who were extremely vague, and shady. Per my contract, I was suppose to have a new starter motor put in and neither of them could confirm it had been done, and one said, "I think I saw that motor in the other... read more

I brought back a recently purchased vehicle from them to have it repaired. WORSE DEALERSHIP EVER. My radio antenna was stolen, my BRAND NEW leather interior was badly scratched and none of the repairs had been professionally done!!! To top it off, my tires were left rotating the opposite ways and the insides are facing the OUTSIDE. Then I was told by the dealership rep. "What do you expect from us, its a 10 year old car." DO NOT GO or be Lured in by the smiling faces."

Best experience ever, honestly. – Just picked up our 3rd vehicle from Del Mar Motor Cars. I wont disclose the deal they made but lets just say there's nothing these guys wont do for you. Rob, Ayal, Patrick and Leo have always been up front and completely honest about every detail of the process. They're willing to work with you, whatever the situation. I only have one thing to say- these guys are the best ! – Rob was so honest and actually down sold me to a car I could afford- I HIGHLY recommend anyone who is looking to buy a car to go through Del Mar Motor Cars for the following reasons: 1- the won't sell you something you can't afford 2. they are honest , helpful and sincere 3, when you run into a "tough situation" they are more than helpful and friendly! Don'y buy from these people – My son purchased a 2005 Nissan 350z from these guys. Had to drive 300 + miles one way to get it. They advertised that it was a 35th anniversary edition. It was not. Its just a base model. Transmission was also bad. Told them about it and they said well too bad but you have a nice looking car. Don't care what they tell you, they just want a sale. Would not refer them to a recycle center to make a dime. BE CAREFUL. I think they were politicians in another life!!
