Honest Mechanic! This guy is honest; you will not be sold things you do not need. To me, that is awesome in itself, honest mechanics are rare. The oil change does not magically increase the price because you need more oil or other nonsense I have been told other places. He outsourced work that he couldn??t perform expertly. He does the work he can do extremely well and does not attempt to do things his shop is not equipped to do properly. I will return here for any of my auto repair needs!
Awesome Job I give this place 5 stars because they saved me about 400 dollars. They have great customer service. I brought my 2007 Accord here to get serviced and they did an excellent job. They gave me a quote over the phone. Ordered the part for me and didn't raise the price and they got my car fixed in a timely manner.
Live Up To The Hype Don't know what to say but wow! These guys live up to the hype I just went in for a basic oil change (the least I have ever paid) not expecting much and left feeling like my being a customer really mattered to these guys. I didn't get to experience the "Magic" everyone else seems to because the phone didn't stop ringing and customers kept coming in the door the whole time I was there, but still I see the appeal.
Honest Repair Shop Found these guys after searching for oil change. They are very professional, and don't try to ding you for a ton of repairs. I took it in for some brake work, another shop had quoted a much higher repair bill. I saved money and time and it wasn't as extensive a repair as I was told by another mechanic. Nice to find someone honest.

Great Experience Great experience; fast, thorough service. They found a small issue that they fixed, and otherwise ran an issue-free inspection. And, as usual, I was pleased to find a cold bottle of water in the car when I drove off.

A Pleasure to Deal With A friend recommended Del Mar Automotive repair to me the other day. I called in and spoke to the owner, Tom, who was helpful and professional. I requested to leave my car for a few hours for an oil change while I ran errands with a friend. I asked him to also check over a few things that I knew needed attention. Incredible!! Look. I'm a girl and I have an almost classic car. Any place else but Del Mar Automotive Repair and that combination would be a recipe for disaster. They've done work for me before - explained what they did, fixed the problem, and charged me a more than fair price. But not until I recently had to have my little cream puff towed in with mystery starting problem did I truly understand what a great shop they are...
