200 Medical Center Dr SW, Fort Payne, AL, 35968, United States
Get directionsDr. Cole and his medical team recently performed my colonoscopy and upper scope. From the office visit to the actual procedure at Dekalb Regional Hospital's Surgery Center, I experienced professional and caring treatment and excellent medical care. I rate this as a 5 Star experience.
You should’ve have to wait 2.5 hours in the ER with pain on the right side and spreading to his back, this with shortness of breath and blood pressure not at acceptable levels. No one tells you anything, so you sit in pain and wonder why is it taking so long, please tell me something. This has been a very disappointing night and when we told them we were leaving, “oh, ok. Ill tell someone “.
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hospital. I have no idea how any place could be ran this poorly. I sat in the E.R. waiting room for 4 1/2 hours with my 2 month old daughter without being seen or talked to by anyone from the hospital. No one from the hospital staff could tell me anything about why it was taking so long or what the estimated time was that we could be seen. Absolute WORST experience I’ve ever had. “Dr.” Ahmed was incredibly rude, disrespectful, & refused to listen to absolutely any word from me or my mother about what is going on with me. He talked over us, interrupted me and my mom almost every time we spoke, & literally let me get one of my symptoms out before immediately claiming that my SEVERELY infected lip was nothing and that I simply had a virus. This man is an absolute JOKE. I’d never write a review like this, but this man I’ve dealt with 2x both of which have been inc... read more
The Emergency Department! The staff at DRMC ED work hard to provide prompt, thorough care with a compassionate, caring approach. Tonight we had to seek care for our daughter who was very apprehensive and fearful. Everyone from triage to discharge went above and beyond to help her feel comfortable and safe. She especially loved the special “bracelet” Cathy made her after the blood draw was over. Thank you to all who worked hard to make the experience great! Jesar, Melanie, Cathy, Sandra, and Dr. Crystal did an outstanding job... read more

Hey Samantha! Glad we were here for you and your daughter! Thanks for the recommendation!
Recently had a heart cath with doctor Al-Halaseh. The nurses were great on day, surgery and cath lab. I would definitely recommend everyone use Dekalb regional medical center. Competent, compassionate care.
