200 Medical Center Dr SW, Fort Payne, AL, 35968, United States
Get directionsER Dr. Ahmed is a very condescending rude little man. He needed to have my labs sent to an outside pathologist for confirmation. I had a CBC, CMP and cardiac enzymes. Basic labs and he needed confirmation. That should say so much and is quite scary also.
I had my surgery at Dekalb Regional and everyone that worked their went up and above. They ladies in registration were very nice and showed me where to go for my surgery. The nurses upstairs in outpatient were caring and answered all of my questions. Dr.Hester did my surgery and he did a wonderful job. I don’t have one complaint with my experience.
I come to the emergency room tonight on November 16th 2020 for help removing my nose ring.. the doctor her name is Crystal didn't even try to help me I could barely understand her she didn't speak English well, I sat in a room for over 30 minuets witch was also ridiculous too
We have a Dr. no one will use due to his attitude and he is not a good er doctor. Sad they have it fixed where we cannot know who we will see. they say for their safety, What about the safety and care of patients. Dr Ahmed will never see me again outside a courtroom. If your hospital wants our counties business get decent doctors.
Staff in Registration will argue with you about your test not scheduled, when I had it in my hand to show them! Then send me to the wrong department. Nothing new there in this Medical Center. Bad practice in billing issues! Don't go there, if you don't have too.
My mother had horrible experience at another hospital, she was discharged home and we had to call an ambulance within 24 hours and take her back to the hospital. She came to DeKalb Regional and I am very happy with the care she received from her stay in the ER to being moved to the floor. The communication has been too notch and my mom has been given wonderful care!
In all my years, I’ve never stayed at a better run hospital than DeKalb Regional Medical Center in Fort Payne, Alabama. I experienced the utmost care, with professionalism, attentiveness, knowledge, and really just good ole’ fashion “kindness” even from day one of my long 10-night hospital stay, with half being in ICU. On many occasions, I noticed the staff going over & beyond the call of duty with attentiveness and concern with not only myself, but watching their mannerisms as new patients came in. This hospital appears to ... read more
I have had two procedures at Dekalb Regional recently and everyone there has been amazing! The nurses and doctors especially Krissy my outpatient nurse, Dr. Blankenship, the OR team from Holding to Recovery are awesome! Dr. Jeffrey Cole is the best!
I just had the worst experience ever at a hospital. The kid that seen me made fun of my name in the other room where I could hear him then said they were going to give me a shot for pain. Left me sitting in the room by myself for a hour and a nurse came in and said he forgot to order my shot. To make things worst he sent me home with out telling what was even wrong!!
