IF you wish to see a fine doctor with a great personality, Dr. Deitel is a great choice. After 3 years trying to help my back pain, I stopped going to Dr. Deitel as nothing was helping my pain including several epidural. The only thing that helped was taking Norco. I used this drug only when the pain was overwhelming. I actually never took a whole pill as I cut them in two doubling my prescription. HORRENDOUS behavior from Dr. Deitel. What an atrocious and extremely unprofessional “doctor”. Not only did this man interrupt me every 5 seconds, he ignored everything I did say and repeated incorrect things back to me that I told him numerous times. He made it clear that he didn’t care or even fake caring about his patient. Talked badly about other doctors to me ( a neurosurgeon with more experience than him). It took me a long time to find Dr. Deitel and even though I live in Los Angeles now, I still drive out to Oxnard to see him. I'm writing this review because it really dawned on me just now how much my life has changed. I'm doing laundry. Before I saw Dr. Deitel that was not an option. Standing in front of my sink to do dishes was not an option. I would lay in bed and wait until I couldn't hold it anymore because it was so painful to get up and go to the bathroom.
