I bring my 11 year old there now who has become attached to my stylist Shane. I have never walked out of there with a bad hair cut, color, eyebrow wax or highlight. Shane made me "Shine"! – I was introduced to Shine by my best friends. Their enthusiasum and wonderful Shine expirences would lead me to Shine also. Being multiracial can be difficult for an ameture stylist. Shane was outstanding! He knew exactly what to do with my chemically straightened hair. He's a PRO along with every stylists here at Shine. Despite the reviews-Shine is a NO GO! – The first time I went, the owner cut my hair. He was an hour late, reeked of alcohol, and bad haircut. The second time I went Shane was going to cut my hair at 10:30 a.m., he's outside, and he says, "I locked my keys inside, and I called the owner, but he's not answering, ya know he probably went out last night, let's reschedule." Great experience – I am very pleased with my experience. I am very picky about my hair and I am so happy with the results. Tony has a great personality and he is great with hair! You will leave feeling fabulous and sexy. Everyone working there was friendly and fun. I will definately be back.
fabulous hair-had my hair straightened at shine! – stacey and tony are the best. i had my hair straightened at SHINE. stacey and tony were incredibly professional and my hair looks FANTASTIC! it took quite a few hours, and the company - stacey & tony - and the atmosphere - cool music, fun magazines, great people - were wonderful. i can't think of a better place to spend an afternoon. i am so happy that i did this. my gracious thanks to stacey and tony. i love you and i love my hair!!!!!!
Not too happy...... – My friend was getting married and found Shine through Citysearch. Very groovy looking place but after the service I was left feeling unsatisfied. The stylist who did our hair was nice but she was slow and took 3 hours just to do the bride and my hair (both really easy styles.) There was still two other bridesmaids there and she took someone else in between them! User review by julliv – I tried this salon because of all the positive feedback I read in City Search. I was a little fearful not knowing what I would walk into. Although the atmosphere was a little wild the staff was very pleasant. Tony did a very nice job and I am extremely critical. I was having my hair cut and colored. He listened to me and reassured me that I could tell him if anything did not turn out as expected. After this experience I will trust City Search. Thanks!

From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, I never stopped smiling and having a great time. Not to mention my hair looks fabulous [Thanks To Tony] who did a fantastic job.
