Hippest, Classiest Hairstyles – At first the funky look of the salon almost sent me home but they are excellent with hair. It was alot of fun getting my hair done and the owner of the salon really has a passion for hair. It shows in his quality work. I am finally happy with my hair and after 4 months, still getting compliments.
Good Times... Good Hair – At Shine you can get a great cut (haven't had any other services yet) and feel like you're at a party at your friend's house. The stylists are so laid back and fun. There's an energy at Shine that you can feel. Rachelle is AWESOME!
Great Hair – Shane did an amazing job on my wife's hair. We just moved to Altamonte Springs, and she was nervous about having her hair colored by someone new. The color is absolutely stunning. He changed her from a blond to a fabulous redhead. She came home in a great mood.
So Disappointing! – Called first, and the owner told me that a particular male stylist would be the best to do a 'razor cut'...brought a picture of my last haircut (Philly) which I loved...I felt rushed the entire 40 minutes I was there - he didn't go into any detail about what I liked in specific areas of my hair - neckline, sides, back ....starting cutting with a razor instead of doing the haircut with a scissors and texturizing with a razor...and ended up cutting one side of my bangs much shorter than the other side - rea... read more
does not live up to hype!!! – after doing research i thought this was the one. my stylist i scheduled with was sick so stacey who apparently had a hangover took over. i asked for a simple partial highlight (caramel) and cut and i received the worst chopped up mess ever and to add injury to that orange highlights that were breaking off! if i were in this business i think i would never let someone leave looking the way i did! i went home in tears $110 poorer and i had to have all my hair cut off and recolored later that week. ... read more
Best Haircut Ever!!!!!! – I went to Shine after reading all of the reviews here on city search. I called on a Friday and was offered a same day appointment even though I had to pass. Went to the salon on Saturday. Once I entered the salon with my 9 year daughter the fun never stopped. I am never quite pleased with my haircut and I am totally amazed with this haircut that I told Shane to do as he pleased with just not to cut my length. Best Salon I've been to in years! – Hip and upbeat! I love this place! I first came to Shine through the recommendation of my neighbor. I had just come from another salon where I had a horrible color and cut. My hair needed fixing desparately. Tony did an amazing job and is a fantastic colorist. They're able to do anything from corporate styles to cutting-edge. The stylists really want you to look fabulous and sexy!

The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. The staff is awesome and prices are reasonably priced. My hair turned out great thanks to Rhonda. She's great! Thank you Shine!
