We have on-site lab diagnostics and blood testing, allowing pre-surgical and senior screenings in our pet hospital. We have both X-ray and ultrasound and the latest and safest anesthetics available for your pet during surgery.

They saved a stray we took in half a year ago and we recently had to take a cat we had for 5 years for being sick. They tried to help him get better over the past few weeks and today we had to make the hard choice. Thank you for the best care you could give on our budget.
I wrote a review about three years ago, but I have to write another. My pup got really sick 2 days ago to the point he was unable to walk. Deerfield has always been my goto place for veterinary care. I cannot express how much Deerfield made this experience somewhat bearable. I was worried no end, but they called me through out the day and kept me upto date. I have never had my animals to a more loving and top notch vet hospital. The entire Staff and doctors are quite simply the best and most caring I've ever dealt with. From brand new puppy to saying goodbye to our sweet cat, Dr Ned and Dr Denise took such great care of us. If there were 6 star option, they'd get 6 stars.

Deerfield is the BEST veterinary hospital in all of Springfield Missouri! They take excellent care of all 4 of my dogs! ALL of the doctors are extremely amazing! The staff is extraordinary! Jax my blue healer who has had issues with seizures had his first boarding experience. We were both a little nervous but Kristen put us at ease and explained what he would be doing and he had a great time! Highly recommend Deerfield. A+
Dr. Denise is the best! She treated our little Rocky like her own, and helped us with his difficult journey from diagnosis to the end. He loved going for visits at Deerfield, and left this world with dignity. Dave and I were also lovingly cared for during this awful time.
