Yesterday I called and told the girl who answered the phone my symptoms and she said I’d have to come in and get seen. I asked her for the hours and when could the last walk in be seen. She said 5 PM now I did stress to her I was at work had to drive from Bellaire all the way to the clinic and she said that as long as I’m checked in by 5 I should be seen. For one, Deer Park Family Clinic could be more careful about who they hire to enter sensitive information into patient files. They sent my sensitive info to MY JOB instead of my pharmacy because their employee "accidentally put my job in the pharmacy blank and my pharmacy in the job blank". They violate patient privacy due to stupid mistakes. That being said, I've had the pleasure of being cared for by some very kind nurses here. RecommendedThey have been our doctors since 2002. I'd have to move way out of the area to consider changing. If the wait times are sometimes long it is because they do not rush you in and out as many offices do. In all the years we've gone I cannot think of any problem or complaint that I've had. Everyone is unfailingly polite and caring. It is also a well equipped office that can treat minor urgent care cases. If you are looking for a new doctor who can help with almost anything please schedule a visit and see for yourself
i have been coming here since the day Dr Andrew and his dad openened up at the other location. Only complaint I have ever had was when you make an appt. and show up (I still come here even though I live in Dickinson) They have overbooked again and canceled my appt again this morning. Dec 31st 2018. So now I have to sit here as a walk in #15 of #15. I plan on telling Dr. Andrew and his dad again about the poor service again I have received here. Admin lady was extremely rude and unhelpful. I called to try to schedule an appointment and she rudely said they only take a few walk ins and hung up on me before I could say anything else. I would recommend going elsewhere.
I’ve been going there for years and never had any problems. Sometimes the wait time is long but I hear that about most doctor offices.
The wait time was terrible. I sat in just the waiting room for an hour and a half. I work at a doctors office. This was ridiculous.
I have been going there for 11 years. Usually for the flu or some other small ailments. Went today for severe back pain. When I say severe, this was some of the worse pain I have ever had! The PA prescribed Aleve & a muscle relaxer. When I told her that I had already taken Aleve with no results, she said that this was what “they” do for back pain. I guess she thinks I was drug seeking. Been here two times and that's enough for me to say forget this place. Paid the copay, I didn't want to pay the additional charge for the "procedure" I needed so I took my prescription and handled it on my own. Second time I went paid the copay (of course) then I may still have to pay for a flu test (waiting to hear about that charge). Saw the Dr. for a few min, he prescribed me some cough syrup that was not very effective.
