RecommendedWe had such a fantastic and relaxing time! The staff were super friendly and caring. Lots of deer and wildlife to see. All the trails are great for a relaxing hike or ride. This will definitely be an annual trip for our family.
My husband and I went out for dinner at Deer Lake Cabins Ranch Resort a few weeks back. We live in Mount Vernon, so were only there for dinner and did not stay at the cabins. A few notes for those thinking about going for dinner.... 1. Definitely put this on your "to do" list (with the proper expectations -\-\ see below)! 2. Friendly staff, they came to check on us and even gave us fish food, and food for the goats. The fish food helped out when trying to see where the sweet spots in the water were. We caught small bass, and countless other little fish. The escape room was awesome, as well as the general atmosphere and cleanliness of the grounds. We are already planning our second trip, and cannot wait to come back. There is one thing that really stole the show though, and that is the ham of a dog that lives at Deer Lake, Blue. My husband and I went here for a little anniversary get away we had zero service and we're off the grid and it was great! The property is beautiful the lake was amazing and the horseback riding was a blast. I didn't want to leave. I love this resort!!!!

We had a blast! So sad that this is our last night here. We will definitely be back! We fished yesterday evening from the kayaks in Dream Lake and caught some perch, then came back to the cabin (Cedar Loft) and fried them up with some "old timey" French fried potatoes. So yummy! We went on the horseback trail ride today and it was so awesome. Randy and Ivy were our trail guides and they were absolutely wonderful!
