Spent three perfect days with my son and his family this week. The beach was fun for the little ones, they even got their feet in the lake! The campfire in our yard produced delicious s'mores as well as cozy place to relax. Best all of, Texas Star was beautiful inside and out, furnishings, details, a real warm retreat! Thank you Rochelle for the nature walk and craft for the girls as well as finding treasures along the way. Me and my husband just came back from our honeymoon this past weekend there and it was wonderful! So beautiful and the staff are all very nice!!! The horses are so sweet! And the deer are gorgeous! We loved fishing at the docks! We are so excited about going back With he rest of our family in august! ��

Such a beautiful place to stay. We stayed in Natures Nest cabin, the scenery was gorgeous. The cafe served super yummy food! We would love to come back again!

Our 2nd year spending spring break at Deer Lake Cabins. We've stayed at the Allen House, Bent Tree Cottage and most recently the Blue House. All were great and the staff is fantastic. Particularly the young man that did the pony rides and the hay ride for my grandsons! The lake is great and the fishing good. Best part is the miles of trails through the ranch. Must rent one of the ATVs. You can't go wrong here!
