About this business
History Established in 1999. We started as a peanut stand in our current location in 1998. My Dad wanted to teach my sister and I business, so we started with boiled peanuts, then started to sell produce, and eventually Dad started renting the building for storage. We brought our smoker down to cook lunch for ourselves, but our customers kept demanding we sell them that too! So everyday, Dad would buy extra meat to bbq for our regulars. Great southern style food and good people! Deep South has catered our last 2 company Christmas parties and was a large hit with all of our employees. From great tasting food and bbq sauces to great people, I recommend people to stop by before they hit I-75 heading back home or if they live local then to give Deep South a try.

The best BBQ in Tampa, maybe even FL....I love this place
I found this place by accident. I was hungry so I stopped, why not. I'm glad I did. The food was delicious and service was very friendly. They gave me so much I had extra to take home for another meal. The place is an awesome hidden gem. So if you're nearby, stop in, you'll be glad you did. I know I'll be back!
