I wouldn't take my dog here for vet care. Patients and wellness are not the bottom line at MPS, any location. However, if you are assigned to this place as a provider as I was by my insurance then you should call your carrier, and get a different physician OR add some term life insurance and pray.
Tonight I was trying to handle an issue with a friend who is a patient. Ruth on 5A was completely unprofessional and very rude to my friend and I when calling. She had the audacity to hang up on him. I have never had a problem with Memorial and right now I'm considering taking my medical services elsewhere. I hope Memorial rectfies this. Nurses should not treat people in this way! I'm very disappointed in Ruth and will be speaking with her supervisor.
Their billing department is horrible!! I kept getting account summaries but nothing ever said I owed anything, so finally I called. The woman said they had been having system issues since last spring, so for over 9 months now. Come to find out I should have gotten 3 bills, that were never sent out. They are only being sent out now, 9 months after the first date of service because I called to inquire. RecommendedThey were the best thing we ever did, we did home hospice for my husband! We were blessed to have T.J. as his nurse, she was a godsend! She was the most caring nurse that I have ever met, my husband did not care for the hospital setting much, so as to why we chose home hospice, he started looking forward to her visit as our whole family did! They leave you sitting for 5 hours with a child bleeding out of the ear. Then finally get you in a room and keep you in the for a minimum of an hour so they can charge you more on your bill. This is what they do over and over. To anyone going here just keep track of the actual time you get into a room and when they finally see you.
