My experience with Dr. Scarlett has been very difficult. I was prescribed topical steroids without receiving adequate information about potential long-term risks. I was told to use them ‘as needed,’ and when they became less effective after extended use, I was given stronger prescriptions instead of alternative options or more guidance. This ultimately led to what I now understand to be topical steroid withdrawal. I went through months of severe symptoms—red, oozing, painful skin—and I’m still dealing with lasting effects, i... read more
It was my first appointment; I never met Dr. Scarlet before; I waited for months to get in for a yearly appointment; Didn't acknowledge me with my name or smile when she entered the room; Please know that I don't need my hand held--I am not seeking special treatment-just kindness and caring. Wasn't interested in my concerns; She was quick and cold; Why would anyone choose her when there are kinder and more caring dermatologists. Don't be subjected to her uncaring behavior.
Dr Scarlett is very easy to talk to and explains everything completely. Very good at making you feel relaxed and comfortable
I was generally unimpressed with my visit to Dr. Scarlett. I should have known prior to my visit that I would be unsatisfied with my care given how difficult it was to even schedule a visit. I called a handful of times, was told I would be called back to schedule, and ultimately had to hound them to get something scheduled. It took at least 5 calls, and many weeks of delays to finally get something on the calendar. Given that I had waited a long time to get this appointment scheduled – a few years before I finally made it a ... read more
Had a very cold and snotty attitude
Our family, especially our daughter, has always gotten perfect care from Dr. Scarlett. I’m writing this review because I don’t understand some of the negative reviews here. Dr. Scarlett has been personable, caring and concerned from day one. In emergencies she always does her best to get us prescriptions or fit us in. We are regular, modest looking people. Dr Scarlett has made us feel valued and heard. She is relaxed and generous with her time no matter how many questions I ask. She’s a true caring doctor. I question any neg... read more
Prescribed meds that caused more problems. Blew off a diagnosis. Just didn't seem to care.
I like dr. Scarlett. She is caring and personable but the scheduling staff is horrible. I am still waiting for a return call after three weeks. Once a scheduler blew me off despite the fact I had a serious infection. This has caused me to go elsewhere where I could get a reply and appt. fast.
Dr. Scarlett completely blew me off when her first line of treatment didn't work for symptoms that had already persisted for over 4 months. She refused to run any additional tests or even attempt any additional treatments. She told me that if I still had symptoms in several months that I could call back then. Unbelievable.
