I have been a tenant of Deaktor Development for over 5 years. My apartment is very spacious, and I have a washer and dryer right inside my unit. Everything has always been well-maintained and any time there has ever been an issue they have been very quick to respond. The maintenance guys are extremely competent and the property is well cared for. I would recommend any apartment or rental management by Deaktor to anyone in the Pittsburgh area.
My apartment in Mt. Lebanonwas perfect for my needs. The washer and dryer in unit was so convenient and I loved the granite counter tops. Anytime I had an issue, **** was quick to respond and maintenance was always helpful in solving any problems.

Our apartment, located on ******************* in the heart of Shadyside was great. The building is safe, secure and clean. Within minutes you could walk to brunch, ********* or any of the fun dining and shopping located on Walnut St. Inside the two bedroom and two bath apartment, the amenities were great. I lived in a studio in one of their Shadyside buildings for several years while in grad school--it was actually the first apartment I moved into when I moved to Pittsburgh to start grad school and I never moved out because I found the apartment to be so comfortable. The accommodations were nice, including hardwood flooring, well-functioning/new appliances, an in-unit washer-dryer, great location, and a very reasonably priced off-street parking space. I lived in apartment buildings in *********** and enjoyed the finishes in this apartment-nice hardwood floors, granite counter tops, w/d in unit, good location. There is an answering service 24/7 so even when an issue arrived in the middle of night, it was answered and landlord showed up to take care of. Staff has always remained professional and responsive to needs, including a few needs to fix the washer and one for dishwasher. I have been renting with them for the past 6 months and it has been absolutely great. I have had little to no issues with the apartment. Their maintenance team is friendly and their office team is super straightforward. I will be renewing my lease !
The staff is very helpful and responsive. We asked to switch apartments and Gwen responded the next day. They are very kind and really want to help. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in Pittsburgh
Customer Service is great! The staff is more then willing to take that "extra mile" to ensure that they find you the perfect apartment. Every time I have called the staff have been professional, polite, and productive. This level of care is rare, and I definitely would recommend them to anyone searching for a new place.
