The owners Scott and Marsha are not only poor human beings but they are sorry excuses for landlords, or should I say higher class slumlords! They refuse to ever fix any major issues within the buildings. Their fire code was multiple years out of service until I mentioned something and force them to get it up to code. And I am one of five residents that have complained about black mold being in the building and causing us to get sick. I have been a tenant of Deaktor Development for over 5 years. My apartment is very spacious, and I have a washer and dryer right inside my unit. Everything has always been well-maintained and any time there has ever been an issue they have been very quick to respond. The maintenance guys are extremely competent and the property is well cared for. I would recommend any apartment or rental management by Deaktor to anyone in the Pittsburgh area.

My apartment in Mt. Lebanon was perfect for my needs. The washer and dryer in unit was so convenient and I loved the granite counter tops. Anytime I had an issue, Gwen was quick to respond and maintenance was always helpful in solving any problems.

The staff is very helpful and responsive. We asked to switch apartments and Gwen responded the next day. They are very kind and really want to help. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in Pittsburgh

Customer Service is great! The staff is more then willing to take that "extra mile" to ensure that they find you the perfect apartment. Every time I have called the staff have been professional, polite, and productive. This level of care is rare, and I definitely would recommend them to anyone searching for a new place.

I rented an apartment from Deaktor in Mt. Lebanon and I have loved it. The apartment is nice and the appliances are brand new. The whole renting process was easy and I have not had any complaints since I starting living here. The staff is friendly and pro active!

Renting from Deaktor Development was a great experience. The maintenance and management team are always extremely helpful and quick to fix any problem. The apartment building is also beautiful and extremely well maintained. The only reason I left was because of work. This is one of the few great property management companies!

I leased my first apartment with Deaktor Development and it was a great experience. I saw their apartments on Zillow, gave them a call, and they immediately scheduled a showing for me to see it. They were easy to communicate with. I signed the lease the next day. The apartment has been well maintained with all updated appliances. The client service team is easy to work with and fix any minor problem I have had. This is great property management company to rent from!

The entire staff at Deaktor Development is lovely. I have rented from a lot of different companies around Pittsburgh over the years and Deaktor Development is by far the best one. The touring process was easy and quick and I have had no problems since moving in. Beautiful apartments as well!
