We had 2 rooms booked. Both had bugs, dirt on the walls and windows, the window locks didn’t work making us feel unsafe. We tried to contact a manager but were told there wasn’t one on duty. We left a number but no one contacted us. The rooms were terrible. The pool was tore up and had green water in it. This is definitely not the place that was advertised. We left and stay elsewhere. DO NOT STAY HERE! I had got paid for a one night stay and when we got to my room there was actual dead and alive bugs in the bed / bed sheets. And they were flying all over the room buzzing right in my ear. I called the office and the only thing they would do for us is change the sheets. We left the room for a few hours and came back to the “fresh sheets” that were also full of bugs!! This place is just gross. No hand sanitizers anywhere. Dried blood on the pillow, not vacuumed, not dusted, black mold on the tub, rotting drywall next to the tub, people eating in the small hotel lobby with no masks, one housekeeper with no mask or gloves, one person manning the desk with no managers or supervisors to take complaints to, the parking lot was submerged in water. Stayed a while ago. Rooms were absolutely vile. Had our handy dandy black light and found semen stains in the bed. Terrible customer service. Jodi K was the “manager” at the time and was a complete waste of oxygen. I’m sure she must really service the right person or people to get her position because anyone with half a brain wouldn’t allow that pathetic excuse for a human to be in charge of cleaning a toilet. Want a dump. Huge bait and switch. Don’t stay at this place. No beach. Guest safety is not a concern. Rooms are horrible. Bed bugs. Locks don’t work. Called maintenance to fix doors. They couldn’t believe the room was rented out.
Front desk staff are very rude. It first glance room looked clean, but was very dusty. Nothing was plugged in - lamps, phone, mini fridge and I mean mini. It was on the floor so you had to kneel down to put anything inside or see what you wanted. We went to look out to our patio and the screen on the sliding door fell off. You over look a parking lot which must be for employees because it’s roped off! No Beach but you could walk to the next hotels beach. Was supposed to stay here from 6/19 to 6/21, when we arrived the hotel was CLOSED! WAS never informed that they were closed.. called and the Clarion next door was taking their guests, was charged More than what was quoted on the phone. had to fight to get a handicap accessible room like I booked.
