About this business
72 Room economy hotel/motel in beautiful Durango, Colorado. We represent new ownership and management as of May 2017. We are systematically improving the property and the rooms daily. We believe one of the best features at our property is the waterfront feature of being on Junction Creek and having direct access to the Animas River Trail, Rank Park and the river. When you stay with us, you must take the 2 minute stroll!

RecommendedWe didn't get to the hotel until 2:15 in the morning but Steve came down and got us checked in. The next day I asked for an extra pillow and had no problems. My only complaint about the room was no coffee maker.

Although the staff was friendly, the room I was originally given had a very bad odor upon entering and the door had previous damage of being broken into so the door even when locked was very loose and jiggled considerably. The carpet was very old. Although, because I was not allowed a refund, they did give me a different room. This room was....better...not worth the money but better. The pool was small but nice and the water had debree but was warm. All in all, I am not sure I would stay again, least wise not for the price.

Awesome new ownership and management team. Maids are very kind as well. We showed up early at 8am and got a room immediately. Rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, property is in a great location! Right on the property a beautiful stream flows which is awesome to wake up to. And about a football field's distance off the property is the Animas River! On the way there you'll find a gorgeous park. The swimming pool has salt water instead of chlorine. I know the owner and stayed at his other hotel. It was very clean and enjoyed staying there. Have future plans to go to Durango and we will be staying at his place!! Seen surrounding pictures must stay!!
Love the Owners! They are doing a magnificent job with Wapiti Lodge! Can't wait to see what they do with Days End!!!
