RecommendedI love BBQ! This one stood out for the pulled pork and the sweet and hot sauce. It was so good we went back and ordered more! The coleslaw was mayo heavy but I wasn’t mad at it!! It was sooo good too! Will definitely return.
Wonderful place and staff!! We had a gathering for my niece’s college graduation planned for outside, but the heavy rain made us change our plans last minute. Owner was VERY accommodating to us all. Gave us private room for our guests. The BBQ was delicious!! Loved this place. Will use for future tailgates. Go Dawgs!!!
So what had happened was... My wife and I were going home from stone mountain. Starving I told my wife to find us one of the wonderful places she finds on Google. So we pull in to dawg gone good BBQ. We head inside it was around two in the afternoon not many people. My wife ordered the rib plate I had the pulled pork. The Mac was the first bite. Only Jesus could make better. I can't go to Athens without going here. It's a problem... that I like... like, a lot.
We tried a variety of menu options! And loved every one of them! Collards were phenomenal!
It is very good! The meat and sides were delicious and I highly recommend this for anyone in or visiting Athens.
