I am currently assigned to Downtown LA Davita on Flower Street. I started on October 2024. My catheter removal was delayed 2 months due them pushing the newly created fistulae. I had a few infiltrations in there during that time, and I am allergic to all the adhesives they use. My cardiovascular surgeon had to tell them to stop putting tape on my arm and to stop using the fistulae until the blisters cleared up. Why would they have to wait to be told was what he asked me. Not all nurses are willing to help. They give attitude and are not ready in case of an emergency. A nurse didn’t help my mother after my mother told her that she was not feeling well and her blood pressure was extremely high and they saw it in the machine and my mom ask for an ambulance and they told her there is no reason of why to call the ambulance that my mom was okay. After I talked to the nurse that was supposed to care for my mother she still took a long time to call the ambulance. I am out of state so I was not able ... read more
