Experienced a biceps tendon rupture. Called Dr. Weinstein who got me right in, and investigated and treated the issue with X-ray, MRI and PT. Turns out, I don’t need surgery at this point, but the care I received was compassionate, informative and gave me what I needed to rehab this injury…
Not sure where people are getting that Dr didn’t spend time with them. Dr Weinstein was very engaging and spent a lot of time explaining my diagnosis and drawing pictures for me and everything. Unfortunately that also takes a lot of time and puts him behind. I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. I’m not even sure why there’s agreed upon appointment times at this point. I feel that the care I got throughout the process of my shoulder assessment, surgery and recovery was excellent. Dr Weinstein is skilled and has a great bedside manner. All care was well coordinated, from scheduling, to the surgery center, to PT afterwards. I highly recommend.
Dr Weinstein does not engage with the patient. He talks over the patient and is impatient especially if patient has any questions

Dr. Weinstein is a very personable and took time to stop in and introduced himself and we had a brief discussion about what would be involved. He reviewed my referring Drs chart before meeting with me. I let better informed and very pleased with my new shoulder surgeon.
I have now had seven joint replacements, so I am accustomed to the process. They all take months for recovery if not longer. With Dr. Weinstein, a reverse shoulder replacement was completed. A shoulder has a different recovery process than knees or hips. My experience was as good as I have had with any of the other joint replacements. You can just tell that he knows what he is doing.
