I have been skiing for decades and run a ski shop in Southbury. To say that skiing is an important aspect of my life is an understatement. The last 5/6 years I have been getting an excruciating pain in my foot which has only worsened with time. The pain was getting to the point that I was not skiing nearly as often and definitely not as aggressively. Dr. Mader was thorough and reassuring. He did notice a slight fungus infection on my large toes and recommended a prescribed medicine to be applied twice daily. The staff is considerate and professional, making sure that you are comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Mader for any problems with your feet.
I had one visit at this practice. I got a foot bath and a few xrays and seen one of the doctors here.. I was told before my appointment that a few of the Doctors were retiring, however I didn't expect to be told I needed some kind of inserts for my shoes and they needed a week for insurance authorization. Guess what, I have never heard from anyone from this practice since... What a waste of time and effort going here... I am sure they PROCESSED THEIR PAYMENT FROM MY INSURANCE COMPANY!!!
