Did cataract surgery on my grandma and she couldn't see for months afterwards. He broke off a piece of the machine in her eye during the surgery. He's ridiculously rude and won't answer questions. The wait for your appointment is about 4 hours. Absolutely would not recommend!
He’s extremely thorough. He caught things previous eye doctors never noticed. I wish I had went to him many years sooner. With multiple eye issues I can’t afford someone overlooking anything. Update- He did my glaucoma surgery ,multifocal lens and cataract surgery. I went from not being able to see the room when I woke up each day since I was about 14 to being able to see details in everything! No glasses now at age 51! Amazing

We had a terrible experience with Dr. Murphy. He did a routine cataract surgery on my mother and totally ruined her eyes. It took her two months to be able to see again and she has never gotten back to being able to drive at night. He is very rude and arrogant. He puts across the attitude of, "I'm the doctor, don't question me; just do what I say." He talks way over the average person's head and spends way more time typing on his computer during your appointment than communicating with you. I would not recommend him to anyon... read more
