LAfter having fusion I now have 100% more radiating leg pain than before the surgery. After a yr from hell I was diagnosed with a screw that didn’t heal. Was operated on again to repair screw. Told dr incision didn’t feel right. Felt warm and squishy. He said he didn’t put in drain. 24 hrs after discharge incision burst open and drained infection to the floor. Hospitalized withMrsa from the operation. Spent months with pic line and iv antibiotics and bad to insure two more surgeries
He’s A great doctor that takes time to explain to you your situation and when you don’t understand he breaks it down to where you can’t understand and make you feel really comfortable who did my infusion in my neck doing good I wouldn’t recommend anyone else because he cares about his patients
Dr. Rouben operated on my mom in 2016 resulting in not one but 2 bacterial infections. 2 because when a screw came loose 2 months after first surgery he had to go back in. My mom had a wound vac and went home on IV antibiotics. From April 2016 until February 2017 she was in and out of the hospital battling the infections. She now lives with chronic pain. My mom requires special braces on her legs or a walker. I also hold Nortons accountable as well. Surgical environment not sterile.
All I half to say is he's a Great Surgeon, I have trusted him during my Lumbar Spinal Fusion L-5, S-1 in November 18, 2014 and Cervical Spinal fusion C-4-6 in April 20, 2015 and I'm about to have Rt S.I Joint Fusion on April 19, 2016. He's the best I trust him completely. I know he and his staff will take very good of his patients I'm proof. Thank you for everything . Tonya
My sister, Becky Arnett waited 2 weeks for Lynn to make appointment for pain management at KDH in Madison, In. Becky called Wed. Lynn said had called them. Becky called KDH, they don't have pain management, now she has to wait until Mon to try to get Pam to make an appointment somewhere where they actually have one. What a big uncaring mess.
