Some people should not be doctors. Some people are not really interested in other people. Some people do not like to answer questions or provide information. Some people look down on others. Some people are unable or unwilling to give basic respect to other people. If you want to be cared for and respected as a human being you need to stay as far away as possible from Dr. Pressman. Not the only issue but...I am a type 1 diabetic and Dr. Pressman could not be bothered to wear a face mask around me in the middle of a pandemic ... read more
After a Hospital acquired MRSE infection Dr. Pressman cleaned out and replaced the poly in my knee, this Man is the real deal Thank You for service to Me and This country.
I had a catastrophic leg break, and the first orthopedic surgeon I saw recommended amputation, "unless one guy in Salem is available to fix it." Dr. Pressman was that one guy. I can't thank him enough for fixing my leg and helping me keep my foot. He offered compassionate care throughout the whole process. I highly recommend him.
I was seen as a trauma patient after breaking my ball off my femur. He did surgery and put a new ball on. My leg is the correct length and I am healed. Thank you!
Dr. Pressman saw me in the ER at Salem Hospital when I shattered my femur.l, including a spiral break. My husband and I were/are very impressed with him. We were told in the ER that if a person was ran over by a tank, Dr.Pressman could put you back together.
Dr. Pressman has not an ounce of bedside manner, came ion the hospital room and announced he was my doctor and left. Didn't get near me. Follow up appointment was no better. He may know what he is doing but one would never know by the treatment one gets from him. I would not recommend him to anyone.
I don’t give him any stars because he was very rude. Following surgery for a broken Tib and Fib and placement of a rod a four screws I was seen by him for my follow up. He came in the exam room and I was holding my knee and this quote I can not make up. He said,” you can let go of your leg I promise you it is not going to fall off”. I said,” I’m not worried about it falling off. I have pain behind my knee really bad.” I ended up in the Er the next day with a DVT and PE. I could have died!!
I have read the other reviews. I agree Dr. Pressman is arrogant and can appear rude however, I want a doctor who has confidence in himself. Dr. Pressman did answer my questions prior to surgery and after surgery he did help control the pain.
Arrogant and rude to start with. Had a simple leg fracture that he assured me would heal fine and be back to normal. 3 surgeries and 9 months later, I will never be able to walk unassisted again. His response was it was because I'm a "brittle diabetic", which I'm not.
