I wish I would have had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Oubre, as he (HIMSELF) did come recommended. But, unfortunately, WE are only as good as our TEAM. Therefore, I would NOT recommend him to anyone with such involved disorders with blood/cancer. Rather than listing specific frustrations with his Hammond Clinic- I will state that this ENTIRE office staff lacks professionalism, efficiency, and the competence level needed to successfully run & treat patients with such sensitive needs & issues.

My 21yo son was seen by Dr. Oubre for Lymphoma. Dr. Oubre's compassion and expertise were EXACTLY what he needed as a patient and I needed as his mother. We HIGHLY recommend him!
David is an incredible physician. He truly cares for his patients and always shows kindness and compassion.
He's a good doctor. The wait time is ridiculous. There is no point in making appointments. 2 hours minimum for just an office visit.
Dr. Oubre is patient and kind to his elderly clients. He explains everything in a manner that is easily understood. I trust him totally.
I've been using Dr Oubre as my oncologist since being diagnosed with cancer, and requiring chemotherapy and follow up since November, 2015. Every experience has been wonderful as he has a frank, yet comforting bedside manner and knows his stuff. Takes the time to listen, discuss options and that ALONE sets him apart from other doctors.
