My daughter had scoliosis. Had the 10 hour surgery 14 years ago! He did an amazing job. Was very professional and to this day doctors compliment his skills ! Now her daughter has scoliosis and we are going to try and get her into Doctor Apel! I'm shocked to find some negative reviews. 😐 We were seeing Dr. Apel for about 5 years and never had I experienced anything negative! My daughter has lived a normal life after surgery. Thank you again Dr. Apel!
Dr. Apel performed a successful surgery on my son’s spine. He made a significant impact in the quality of my son’s life. We can’t thank him enough. We were confident going in because of the time and attention Dr Apel spent carefully explaining everything to us. He was very caring and professional throughout this entire experience. The results were even better than we expected. So very grateful for Dr Apel and team.
My 12yr old daughter had an appointment with him. He barely acknowledged her and wouldn't answer any of her questions. Was in and out really quick, did not thoroughly explain things. We tried to contact him after the appointment and he would not respond to our messages. I really hope we don't have to see him again.
If I could give him a zero i would. The way this so called Dr. treated my 13 year old daughter is unprofessional and unacceptable. He continuously interrupted and talked over my daughter for the whole 5 min he was in the exam room with us. When we asked questions, we were told to go home and google it, as if we were wasting his time. She left his office in tears (walking). 1 week later my daughter is now on crutches in excruciating pain and he wont take 5 min out of his day to call us back.
