On March 31, 2021 I saw Dr. Klein in his Port Charlotte FL office with a bad eye infection. His care and concern for my eye problem was extraordinary! He is definitely the best doctor I’ve ever seen and do appreciate all he did to alleviate the pain in my eye. I had been to Fawcett Memorial Hospital ER at midnight the night before and the doctor I saw there for my severe eye pain told me to see Dr. Klein the next day. I went to Dr. Klein in 2019 as a new patient for my annual eye exam. Evidently, they really did not like my insurance coverage because I received one of the worst, fastest, most high level eye exams I have ever received. The refraction was performed without using the refraction machine. I sat in the chair and looked at the chart on the wall. I work in the healthcare culture. I recently suffered an unusual eye injury. Dr. Klein (and his staff!) were extraordinary! I have NEVER experienced such loving care in a professional environment. And what an educated physician! Truly following a calling! Exceptional experience. My only regret is that he is not a primary care physician, so i could receive his care for my whole person! A beautiful gift to the entire community! Exemplary provider!

Dr. Klein is the best. I have been seeing him for approx. 35 years and have complete faith and gratitude in him. If it hadn't been for him I would be blind right now. He diagnosed me with Normal Pressure Hydrosypholsis and got me to a Neurosurgeon right away to have a shunt put in to save my vision. Over the years I have had problems with Optic Neuritis and each time the ER calls him he takes the call and orders the medication I need no matter if he is on vacation or at home. Very dedicated!

I have been a patient of Dr. Klein for many years and can say that he is a great physician. He cares about his patients and will go above and beyond for them. A trait you rarely see in the medical field now. He is one of many that volunteer their time at a local medical clinic for the uninsured and low income households and provides them with medical care. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to see him!!

I met Dr. Klein in the Fawcett emergency room after a Sarasota doctor performed a procedure resulting in complications. I was hours from losing the vision in my right eye. I was very scared and in immense pain. He immediately took charge of my situation, relieved the pain (eye pressure was around 60). His knowledge and manner also alleviated my anxiety. I highly recommend Dr. Klein. He saved my eyesight. He was a Godsend. His staff is also topnotch. Considerate & professional. A caring office.
