Dr Bloome did a tendon transfer on my left foot. I’m 100%. This time I saw him for a broken toe. I got a quick appointment & was taken to see him on time. He’s very easy to talk to. He explained everything clearly and I trust his skills. Surgery is in a week. Thank you Dr Bloome.
Was diagnosed by another Dr., I wasn't comfortable with her diagnosis (not what Dr Bloome diagnosed) or her bedside manner. I decided to get second opinion and called Dr Bloome. He answered all my questions, ordered imaging and gave me options. Never felt pressured to do anything I wasn't ready for. I had my surgery 2 weeks ago am now walking in a boot and cannot wait to get back into doing the things I enjoy doing.
All staff and Dr. Very courteous, knowledgeable and competent.
Dr. Blume was very professional and personable. He made an assessment of my condition with the information I provided, recommended a mri. Had me fitted with an ankle brace and after 2 days with brace my condition has improved. Having been a past patient of Fondren Orthopedic, Dr. Blume follows the excellent treatment I have received in the past. He recommended practical solutions and one additional test to make sure the treatment was moving in the right direction.
Everything that they have done for me has been the best treatment ever

Dr. Bloome is very knowledgeable and thorough. He explained in detail the diagnosis and the two treatment options- ankle fusion or total ankle replacement. He shared his experience with both and pros and cons of each option. It was clear that the replacement option made the most sense for me. Surgery scheduled for September 2023.
Dr Bloome completed surgery on my foot in 2016. I am now super human on one side! If the other foot decides to fail, I know exactly what to do!
He is in the process of repairing a thirty year old injury to my feet.
