Dr. Bloome has been my physician for many years. I appreciate his conservative and yet thorough approach to my specific, medical needs.
Very Disappointing Diagnosis Process and Surgical Procedure: I went to Dr. Bloome for a painful bump on the bottom of my foot. He said it was caused by a neuroma. He performed surgery through the top of my foot. Subsequently after the surgery the bump got larger...It was a tumor. I scheduled a second surgery, on the bottom of my foot with a different orthopedic surgeon to remove the tumor. DO NOT use Doctor Bloome in my opinion. NOT RECOMMENDED!
Dr Bloome, in my opinion, is one of the best foot surgeons in Houston. He performed surgery on my toes 6 weeks ago and I'm very pleased with his work in the outcome. He is highly skilled, uses advanced techniques, demonstrates a high attention to detail, is very caring and communicative. He also performed two surgeries on my wife about 5 years ago and we were very pleased with his work then as well.
First experience in 2019 went well. Dr. Bloome was a good thorough doctor who explained my issue and helped my recovery. Today 5/11/21 I had an appointment and after an hour of waiting had to leave. No empathy, explanation or consideration from check out person except if I wanted to reschedule to which I replied no. I will never return to this provider.
It was my first visit with Dr Bloome, he was very pleasant and informative.
Dr. Bloome is a very compassionate Dr. He helped me as much as he could to save my leg, and was there for me when we couldn't. I'm proud to call him my orthopedic surgeon and if I would recommend him to anyone. He takes the time to talk to you and doesn't rush or treat you like a number. He treats you like a real person. I hope I never need another surgery again but If I do, I know who to go to.
This is an update- almost 2 years ago Dr Bloome replaced my ankle which had caused me pain for around 25 years. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I can walk with no difficulty or pain and the surgery made a huge improvement in my quality of life and ability to enjoy it actively. I give him the highest praise and thanks for his kindness and skill.
Superior. Answers questions in a personal, knowledgeable manner. Dr. Bloome explains well. Surgery done in a competent , serious manner. Personable and pleasant.
Dr. Bloome is an exceptional physician/surgeon. I believe him to be an expert in his field. He always treats me with respect, shows true concern and had my best interest at heart.
