Dr. Liebelt diagnosed my problem with accuracy and confidence and was right that my pain was caused by my hip. The surgery was scheduled and went just as he said it would. The pain after surgery was minimal. Recovery has gone very well. Dr. Liebelt said he would give me my life back and he sure did! I am even better than I was before he helped me. I want to thank Dr. Liebelt and the entire team at ThedaCare. They helped me through a visit to the ER where I was found to have a broken femur due to an accident that was going to require a total hip replacement. Obviously, this is shocking and scary news for someone who is only 31 and has never been to the ER, checked into a hospital, undergone surgery, or been under anesthesia. Dr. Liebelt is knowledgeable, skilled and kind. I went home the same day. He listens and answers all your questions. Even if your medical history is complicated he is ready to help. I’ve seen and cared for many knee replacement folks with big scars, complications and poor motion in the knee afterward. I didn’t have any of that. A big part of recovery is on us to do the work but getting the best possible start with Dr. Liebelt makes a huge difference.

Very knowledgeable. Was not afraid to replace hip even though I am overweight. I went to other doctors and they said you need to lose 50-60 pounds. How do you do that when you are in constant pain! Highly recommend Dr Liebelt. I have my quality of life back!!!

I had total hip replacement surgery in April 2022. It is 3 months later, and I could not be happier. Dr. Liebelt and the entire team at ThedaCare Orthopedic were fantastic. They exceeded my expectations. I was on my feet 3 hours after surgery. I was on my way home 4 hours after surgery. I was walking without a walker or cane 5 days after surgery. Dr. Liebelt, took my apprehension about my hip replacement away. He explained every detail about the surgery, what would happen, the procedure, post surgery, and recovery. Thanks to him no more pain. Walking, standing, bending, sitting comfortably once again.

I can't say enough wonderful things about my hip replacement surgery and the process to get to surgery. After the surgery I was home in 5 hrs. I rehabbed and healed quickly. His bedside manner was great as well. I recommend him for sure!

I was 52 years old with a bad hip, that most surgeons would not replace due to my excessive weight. Dr. Liebelt never once brought up my weight and did the surgery. A year later I can do things I haven’t done in years. I’m so thankful for his wonderful treatment of me and doing such a great job on my hip! I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of a new hip or knee!
