My mom is a patient of Dr. Liebelt, she is 94 years old and the only health issue was a severely arthritic hip, until a visit to the E. R. a month ago. The next day Dr. Liebelt saw her and her xrays and scheduled surgery for the following day. Surgery went well, recovery was excellent and 4 weeks later, she is pain free, walking with her walker and talking about activities she'd like to do that she was unable to do due to hip pain. I am writing a tribute for Dr. David Liebelt, Orthopedic Surgeon, Racine, WI and his entire team. Dr. Liebelt performed total knee replacements/both of my knees. He is a splendid surgeon whose philosophy is "once my patient, always my patient". Everyone on his team are cheerful and extend caring and an"one on one" rapport with each patient in a professional manner.
Dr Liebelt was very professional. I was up walking the same day of my surgery. I spent one night in the hospital after surgery. I returned to work in 7 weeks and had no problems on a physical job. Dr liebelt answered all my questions. His confidence was positive trait throughout all my appointments.
Dr. Liebelt did a revision of my left knee in October of 2018, he was very caring, he answered my questions and he worked around a trip that was planned months earlier. In December of 2018 Dr. Liebelt did a total knee replacement of my right knee before I moved. Dr. Liebelt is very knowledgeable, and really cares about his patients. I would recommend him to everyone, who needs hip or knee surgery!!
I had a posterior hip replacement done on my left side, by someone that is now retired. In Dec. Dr. Liebelt performed an anterior hip replacement on my right side. My recovery this time is easier, faster, less painful. Dr. Liebelt has a very caring and friendly personality. He made sure that I understood all the pros and cons of this surgery. I am thrilled that both my legs are now the same length. I highly recommend Dr. Liebelt to anyone that is experiencing hip problems.
Dr. Liebelt is a great surgeon! Due to an unfortunate accident, my son had a shattered femur which required an extensive surgery to repair. Throughout everything, Dr. Liebelt always took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on. We highly recommend Dr. Liebelt!

Dr. Liebelt is among the few doctors who care completely about their patients. He saw me through the preparation before my knee replacement surgeries, gave me excellent care during my surgeries and is continuing to give me excellent care post surgery. He is a kind and caring physician, I recommend him highly to everyone I talk to!!!!
