Took my Dad to see Dr Slutsky for his left hand, 3 numb fingers and damaged nerve. He explained there was nothing that could be done. I asked him a couple questions, just confirming I understood everything correctly and his response to me was "I just spent the last 5 minutes explaining everything. " Very, very rude.
I am a medical social worker. Dr Slutsky was impatient. He refused to thoroughly explain the nature of my injury, he never stated a diagnosis, he did not thoroughly explain goals of treatment - milestones, possible set backs, alternative treatments or a plan to follow up. Strangely he kept encouraging me to see another doctor rather than explain the above.
