Dr. Barrett implanted lenses in my eye without consulting me as to which kind he was going to use or why he was going to use them other than that I had to pay for them myself so apparently these were the cheapest possible and took away all of my up close vision and increase my distance vision, even though I always have to wear glasses because of double vision as a result of a stroke. I have been going to Dr. Barrett for over 20 years. He is very thorough and provides detailed explanations.

Not at all pleased with Dr. Barrett. Totally changed what he told me he was going to do for cataract surgery and has caused me a great deal of fear and anxiety since. I have not been back to this office in 3 years. Grand Rapids Opthalmology couldn't even get my contact lens prescription right. I never had a problem with contacts in 40 years of wearing them. I am sorry my retired doctor turned his patients over to this office. Five years of bad experiences. Now I don't know who to trust
Dr. Barrett is an awesome Dr. I would recommend him to everyone.
Dr. Barrett is an excellent surgeon! The staff was very caring and made me feel comfortable before surgery. I had cataract issues and he was able to restore my vision to perfection. So thankful. I highly recommend him.

Dr Barrett and his team were fantastic! I felt well informed and well cared for in each step of the process for my custom Lasix! It went so quickly. I would do it again in a heartbeat. So grateful to have my vision restored!
