I was a patient of Dr. Packey for approximately 2 years, but I'm not even sure if I ever met him. At every appointment, I was always treated by his nurse practitioner, Dr. Stephanie Newberry. At my initial visit, I immediately told the office staff that I needed my previous medical records transferred, and they assured me they did so. I also requested a Long Term Monitor EEG, and I was told there was a waiting list. I made these requests several times as a patient, always given the same answer. Only after I took matters into... read more

Dr. Packey is great and will listen to you. Two of the office stuff members are not nice and do not know how to treating Patient . On 09/08/2023 I had appointment with Dr. Packey. While I was waiting Nurse Ashly came called my name while she was fighting with someone on the phone. she treated me very un professional , when I complained to her Suddenly Nurse April jumped in and start yelling at me . I agree with many of the reviewers that the office staff is rude. In my two interactions with the staff they have been curt in their response to my questions, inpatient if I ask them to repeat themselves. The one girl who sits at the desk before you turn to schedule your next appointment with Dr. Packey is by far, one of the rudest persons I have ever meet.

Initial visit was not handled by doctor but rather by an inexperienced Nurse Practitioner (NP); she immediately provided a statement that I was not correctly diagnosed with my current condition. She did not attempt first to ask questions and establish a solid patient to NP connection. Instead she assumed a number of things and started to list all of her reasoning; I was not there to get their opinion of my diagnosis rather I wanted to get their advice concerning mental health and how it related to my current behavior; I was ... read more

My wife and I like Dr packy very much. He is very caring listens and answers questions. However staff in the office is rude, argumentative and arrogant. Especially the medical assistant who will interrupt you before you can finish a sentence. Then she will accuse you of being rude.

I am a new patient of Dr. Packey, I have suffered with tinnitus and extreme pressure in my head for over 20 years. I have seen so many doctors I can't even remember them all, audiologists, ENT's, etc., it was killing me slowly, had to sit outside with crickets to try and relieve the ringing in my head. Dr. Packey is the first doctor that has helped me. He listens, and he put me on an old school medication. I haven't had ringing or extreme pressure in my head since 8/6/20, today is 8/23/20, to me it's a miracle, and people th... read more

Worst office management ever. Had an appointment for 5:25 pm...tried calling the day before with no response, finally got through at 10:00 am the day of the appointment to cancel. Was sent a $75 missed apt fee! Called the office and the billing person became argumentative and questioned my integrity. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Instead of me rescheduling I will search elsewhere with them losing out on potentially tens of thousand of dollars.

I cannot say enough. I was referred from a different doctor in the area that uses Dr. P as a family neuro. I was so pleased with how long he took with me, how many notes he took, and how he listened. I have been dealing with an ongoing, odd issue that nobody has fully taken the time to listen to. I truly feel he listened and is willing to help. I left feeling better about my situation. Time spent, notes taken, viewing of films, and more.....are the reasons I am writing this review.
