First class surgeon, practice and person. He and his staff are very accessible, very well organized and incredibly nice to deal with.
Very positive experience. Dr Hergan , his staff and the hospital all worked together seamlessly. Would highly recommend him as a surgeon
My experience with Dr. Hergan has been great. He takes his time, listens to his patients, and puts you totally at ease. It's very obvious he loves what he does and is quite skilled at it. He replaced my left hip due to osteoarthritis, and every step since has been a positive. He is a great doc and a fine man!
I broke my wrist & went to Middlesex Hosp ER on 3/4. Hergan was the "attending" ortho. After 3 hours PA said the dr. wasn't coming & I should call his office in the am for an appt. After 4 calls, at 2:30 I was told that he was a very busy surgeon & in surgery so I should be patient. I asked for another Dr - this isn't their "policy" since he was my "attending" the night b4. Really? he never showed! Final result was an order for CAT scan & an appt on 3/24! Horrible!! He & his staff don't care
During my second to last appointment, he walked out in the middle of me asking him questions. Last week, he was unaware that his office had been prescribing me a narcotic. His PA has now signed off on 2 scripts since February, and a colleague one a year ago.
I was forgotten about. I made it clear that I have been in a lot of pain. Both knees have torn meniscus. Had first visit , then M.R.I. Then second visit back to the physicians assistant. She told me no ally with a tere like mine he might not choose to do surgery. She said she would talk to him and get back to me that afternoon. Never heard from anyone. This was Tuesday. On Thursday I called , still nothing! Called for my records. Very unprofessional.
