I went to Dr. Hergan for a follow- up appointment this week. After our initial meeting, he ordered physical therapy to strengthen my quads, Meloxicam for inflammation, and a steroid hip injection to help with the pain. All worked very well, but my hip has so much arthritis and so many bone spurs, that I would only be deferring surgery. He agreed that I would need surgery and sooner better than later. Dr. Hergan is a knowledgeable and meticulous surgeon who is also very personable, taking the time to answer all questions asked prior to my surgery. He performed my Total Shoulder Replacement 2 weeks ago. His PA Kelly is also friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond to any needs and phone calls.
Dr Hergan is thorough and listens attentively. His treatment was aimed at reducing my pain, which is why I came in. he is also very kind and compassionate.
Dr Hergan is a kind compassionate and attentive orthopedist. He takes the time to listen to your issue(s) and provide feedback to be sure he understands exactly what you were problems are. He goes through treatment processes with you so that you can mutually decide the best treatment to go forward with. I took a bad fall and hit my shoulders. From the Xrays and Doctor Hergan’s recommendations, I am already feeling so much better. He is a wonderful doctor.
