Truly a great doctor! I see him annually and as needed, and his care is nothing short of top of the line. Highly recommend Dr. Kurss not only for his expertise, but also for always keeping a smile on my face with his warm personality and humor.
I've been a patient of Dr. Kurss' for over ten years and he recently performed my hysterectomy. His ability to put his patients at ease is incredible and his passion for what he does is not something that goes unnoticed. The surgery went great, and I am grateful to have been treated by such a genuine and knowledgable provider!
I've been a patient of Dr Kurss for 20 years. He was the first male doctor that I had ever visited. He immediately put me at ease and was respectful of the fact that I am and always have been incredibly uncomfortable and anxious before and during pelvic exams. Over the past 20 years I have become less uncomfortable and anxious, thanks in great part to Dr Kurss. In addition, When I recently lost my husband, my family members were concerned about my well-being and they reached out to Dr Kurss. Thankfully he was able to see me ... read more
I have been a patient of Dr. Kurss for 15+ years. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and trustworthy. He truly cares about his patients and their overall well-being. I highly recommend him!
I have been a patient of Dr Kurss for over 25 years. He delivered my daughter. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, kind, friendly, gentle and trustworthy. I have had in office procedures done and he is very competent. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Kurss has taken care of me for 20 years and I trust him implicitly. He takes the time to listen to me and he pays attention to what's on my mind. I am healthier because of his care.
I have been a patient of Dr Kurss for 20+ years. I have always found him to be extremely caring and genuinely concerned about me and my family history of ovarian, breast and pancreatic cancers. He is up to date on his research and advocates on your behalf with the insurance company when necessary. I see him every six months and he is extremely thorough on every visit. Dr. Kurss is usually on time for my appointments and I would highly recommend him.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kurss for approx. 20 years and have found him to be an attentive listener and a caring physician. Of late, he supported and counseled me regarding genetic testing upon learning of the illness of my father. Had he not inquired about family history, I might not have connected the dots to learn of my BRCA-2 mutation. Due to his concern, he removed my ovaries to prevent ovarian cancer and holds me to a proactive regiment of office visits, mammos, and breast MRIs to monitor breast cancer as I consider... read more
Dr. Kurss is a nice man, but I am not confident in the care he provides. He is *always* at least an hour behind schedule, leading to excessive wait times. Some would say this is because he cares for his patients, but this demonstrates a lack of care as well. I think he schedules extraneous appts-for example, I’ve had to make appts to go over test results instead of a phone call-and then I get billed for a 5 min talk I waited an hour for. He has 6 mo apts for med refills which is unnecessary.
Business response:
In office appointments are necessary to allow the Doctor to carefully and completely review all the previous records and then provide thorough, compassionate, up to date, and competent care specifically tailored to the patient's needs. Occasionally, these needs are not always fully apparent to the patient but it is the Doctors obligation, nonetheless, to address them. Oftentimes, happily for this patient, this is not an overly time consuming interaction. Unfortunately, other times it is.
