As a student working with Dr Kurss I can honestly say that he is one of the most considerate, genuine, and caring providers I have ever worked with. He is incredibly thorough in his patient records and routinely goes above and beyond what is considered standard treatment to ensure that his patients are getting the best care possible. He is very up to date on genetic screening and is known to fight for insurance approval when he feels it is necessary, which is beyond what most providers will do.
I was really afraid to find a new GYN doctor because I was with my previous one since I was 13 . I must say Dr. Kurss made me feel really comfortable and didn't hurt me at all . Thank you so much Tracy

Dr. Kurss is the most compassionate doctor I have been to. He has managed my care for almost 30 years through two pregnancies and baby deliveries, cysts, uterine ablations, complete hysterectomy, menopause, and genetic testing. I have a family history of gynecological cancer and he has been in tuned to this over the years. His professionalism and utmost care and concern for my health has saved my life. I see Dr. Kurss twice a year and would not trust my health care to anyone else.

Had my first visit with Dr Kurss today. Switching doctors was not easy for me, I am very glad I found a good one! Dr kurss has a great sense of humor he uses to lighten the "nerves" we have about going to the gyno. You can tell his takes his patient's care very seriously and makes sure to address every concern you may have. He likes to talk and explain very thoroughly. (no "rushed" feeling at this office!) Looking forward to staying with his office for many years, and referring family&friends.

I met with Dr. Kurrs for the first time yesterday and left the office wanting to tell all my friends and family. It is very hard to find a great doctor AND staff willing to listen, inform, and guide you correctly. My experience here and ease of scheduling such an urgent appointment was top of the line. Poor diagnosis without substantiation, strongly advised removal of uterus based on a cyst which he said was likely to be cancerous. Spent 15 minutes diagnosing and explaining my condition, rudely refused to spend time with me on the phone afterward to explain further. I sought out a second and then third opinion upon which I was told there was no valid reason for Dr. Kurss to suggest cancer or removal of my Uterus . Both specialists warned me to be careful who I chose as a doctor in the future

I have been a patient of Dr. Kurss for over 15 years, and he delivered both of my children. He is a very knowledgable gynecologist and I trust his advice. He is also an excellent surgeon. Recently, I had a surgery that was unable to be done laparoscopically. He didn't want me to have a large incision, so he made a small abdominal incision and then took an hour and a half to remove everything this way, even though it would have been faster and easier for him with a larger incision.

Dr. Kurss is a wonderful caring doctor. Even when I have problems over the weekend or on holidays he is always available to help. He has always told me that he considers his patients to be part of this family. This is very evident to me. He goes out of his way to spend time and answer every question for his patients. He goes far beyond my expectations.
