I highly recommend Dr. Kahan. He is a perfect primary care doctor for me.
Office staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. explains everything well, makes suggestions and listens to the patient.
Highly skilled professional who is personable and effective. He is a great listener who sends time answering any and all questions.
I have had many doctors over 75 years and I know that Dr. Kahan is one of the best. He is much more knowledgeable and has very excellent communication.

Dr Kahan has been my husband and my provider for at least 15 years. We wouldn't go to any one else. He is the best.
Very disappointed with this doctor this time on how he handled a disastrous (although comical) physical from his nurse Ms Baneck (I was told worked for Dr Kahan). After I expressed my concerns to him by email, his response: "I cannot comment on another provider"; however, the provider's name on the EofB and the bills was Dr Kahan!!! . That nurse had no clue how to conduct a physical; made me come back a 2nd time (BCBS said that should not have happened); totally incompetent in all fields!
Both my husband and I have seen Dr. Kahan since he opened his office on Tangerine and Dove Mt Road ( now in his new office on Tangerine and Thirnydale) which is about 10 years.We wouldn't want another physician as Dr. Kahan is very knowledgeable, compassionate, actually takes time to listen as well as explain,never indicates he's in a hurry. I'very recommended various friends to see Dr.Kahan and have gotten good responses from them once they see him He'said a very good person and doctor.
The recording says that they will get back to you within 2 days and not to call multiple times. There is no follow-up. I am looking for a new doctor who cares about his patients and calls back.
