The staff is rude and unhelpful. Health care in this place is a kick the can type of service. After numerous chances I am in search of a new urologist.

Recently had a radical retropubic prostatectomy. Although some may feel anxious when awaiting this surgery, I felt totally at ease. The doc was great from my perspective. Extremely personable and conversational prior and after. I never doubted I was in great hands. Was off all pain meds in four days and am recuperating better than I expected. The entire experience at Charlton Memorial and with Dr. Bae was great so far. Rest easy in his hands.

Like others my experience in the waiting room and office staff was aloof unfriendly talking on the phone setting up a test for me and just cold and unfriendly staff. Just like the dr. same cold attitude , hurry up and get out .. the waiting room was empty . That should tell you something already . Unless you have major insurance , which I don't have . I'm covered by the state . I believe you don't get the same care of treatment which is not supposed to happen but in reality it really does . just putting that out there .

Had appt at 2:50 on Friday I showed up @2:45 & was led to room after waiting in the waiting room for 10 minutes. Asst was very cold. Not comforting, sympathetic at all. Handed me pee cup. No wet wipes. No paper towels in bathroom.sent to my room where I was forgotten about for 45 min. I heard the assistant girls chit chat, weekend plans, nonsense!! Nothing work related. I came out of the room to ask what the holdup was. I was told the dr was with other patients, funny cuz there was nobody there

I just had a surgical procedure yesterday. Dr. Bae was the surgeon at Charlton hospital. I was very impressed with the time he spent with me prior to the surgery. He explained in great detail what he was going to do,the pros and cons of various methods and he did so in laymans terms so I could understand. He answered every question in an honest and frank manner. Surgeons,in my experience ,don't have the best bedside manners, but this doctor did. The surgery went just as he described.

I went to a specialist because I kept getting uti's ..... I had gone to my pcp a couple times then I couldn't take the pain and went to specialist ..... All dr bae did was give me a prescription for antibiotics and he said come back in 3 months......well I went for a 2nd opinion because again I was in so much pain...... And come to find out I had a fistula connecting my colon and bladder together ... I had to have a colon resection to fix everything! I had poop going to my bladder!!!!
