One year ago today Dr. David Brown and our Lord saved my life!!! I did not have an easy surgery. More complications once he opened me up. Things were not looking good for me. This wonderful Dr. stayed with me most of the night worried that I may not make it. The Lord was not ready for me yet and he guided Dr. Brown's hands through the surgery. First and foremost I thank the Lord I am still here with my family and friends and of course the sweetest kindness man I know....Dr. David Brown. God Bless You. Wanda Overcasher 1-24-2... read more
Received open heart surgery on June 6, 2022. Dr. Brown did an excellent job with valve repair and bypass surgery. He and his staff were pleasant and kind. I felt like I was in good hands and received excellent care.
Dr. Brown saved my life in 1993. I was diagnosed with "large" cell lung cancer. The cancer specialist seen originally gave me 4 to 5 months to live. The pulmonary Doctor recommended I see Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown was every thing you want in someone about to save your life. He explained how he would check to see if I "could" have to tumor cut out, giving me any chance to survive. I woke to only having one lung and have lived almost 30 years now, thanks to him and that pulmonary Dr. I know he does not "do" lungs anymore, but if I ... read more
My experience with Dr.Brown and his entire staff was excellent.I remember Dr.Brown explaining to me,in some detail, what had happened to me,and then ,what he planned to do to fix it.Then,he looked directly at me and proceeded to tell me how he expected me to adjust my lifestyle, so as to allow me benifit of this entire grueling procedure. Well, Dr. Brown did what he said he was going to do and I made the choice to listen to Dr. Brown! And the result of this ? I’m alive, enjoying my family and in good health. Thank You, Dr. D... read more
Dr. Brown operated on my brother in Jan, 2020, and did a fabulous job. He even spent the night to watch over him after surgery, so was available when it was discovered an additional repair was needed. My brother, Mark, has now fully recovered, and his current doctor said he never expected him to be in this good of shape. He was so lucky to have gotten Dr. Brown!
Worked with him for many years. Excellent cardiac surgeon
Dr Brown and his staff were very professional, understanding, and caring both pre and post procedure. He explained the procedure clearly and what to expect. He was on time during his rounds and asked if I had any concerns. He explained clearly the medications and assured my wife and I that I was doing well. Prior to my discharge, his staff, in conjunction with the ICU nurses, clearly explained what I needed to do daily during my recovery at home. Dr Brown has a 24/7 hotline for any questions or concerns. A member of his staf... read more
Everything was excellent!!!!!!
The ONLY complaint I have is that Dr. Brown never saw me again. His PA's did, and they are great, but he never saw me after I left the hospital. Best possible care you could ask for from ALL of them! I appreciate them all very much!
