The worst experience ever! Called to have our gas stove repaired. Was told the part would need to be rebuilt and should be ready in a week. A week goes by...no call, another week goes by...still no call. I called every day looking for an update to when it would be fixed. I have an autistic child who only eats certain foods.....and having to get take out all the time to feed him was getting a bit played out. Very expensive. Nice guy and did a good job, but it wasn't cheap. Be prepared to spend some money.

When in doubt CALL DAVE! Im am so glad i called dave when my dryer vent got clogged. My husband couldnt figure out how to do it so i had to call a professional. I started doubting it at first but once Dave rushed right over i didnt doubt myself after that. I now have a coupon from there and my cleaning will only be $89. I cant find it any cheaper that anywhere else. Im glad i can now dry my clothes again!

Best appliance place I have called! I needed a part for my garbage disposal so I called lowe's and they told me it could take 2 weeks just to get a part! I then called Dave's to see if he would have the part and he did! I went up that day to receive my part and I left satisfied and happy with my choice! Highly recommended!

Daves is best of philly 2011! – I called Dave's because he was name the best of philly 2011. He is the most professional person that I have ever had in my home. My stove and dishwasher were both broken and he drove 2 hours to get my part because I had a party planned for my fathers birthday. I would have had to cancel the party with no stove, but Dave came through and I recomend him to anyone. Dave is great! sincerly mrs E.

An advocate of Dave's Appliance – City Search doesn't indicate the correct address and they don't allow business owners to change the info. More importantly they don't give the option to discuss a poor review unlike other search engines. Beware of Dave's Appliance – This guy is a total rip off. He charged me $729.28 to fix my coffee maker and never fixed it. Made me sign a disclosure that I was "satisfied" with the service BEFORE the service was done. Promised to come back many times but never showed. But he did manage to cash my check the same day I gave it to him. Do yourself a favor, get someone else to do the work for a fair price. Dave is a rip off!

Refrigerator and Range Repair – While the response for service was good, they are way overpriced. To go along with that, the practice of replacing expensive parts until you find the one that's failed seems to be how he works. In my case a $145 part was replaced, found not to be the problem, then a $130 part was found to be the problem. At the end of the day, I wound up paying for both parts, the one that was needed, and the one that wwas not needed. $413 for a repair that should have run no more than $250. Fantastic service, friendly and fast – Dave came over and fixed my dryer over the weekend. He was in the area and called me to come over Sunday morning when they don't normally work! The service was fast and reasonably priced. I'll use Dave again.
