From the get-go, Dr. Barrios' office staff made the difference. After calling a couple of general surgeons' offices, I settled on Dr. Barrios based on his reviews and ratings, but probably more importantly, how I was treated by his staff on the initial call. I can not say enough great things about Dr. Barrios and his office staff as well as surgical staff. They were all so kind and happy to answer any question I had. The ladies in the office are amazing! The surgical staff are so kind and make you feel at ease even though you are about to have surgery. Dr. Barrios performed a hernia surgery on me and I couldn't be more pleased. I checked into the surgical center at 10:00 a.m. and was at the door, waiting to be picked up by 2:30 p.m. One day later, I have minimal pain (1-2 on a scale of 10) and am walking, standing, and sitting unassisted. Didn't need pain medication of any kind.The staff at Dr. Barrios' office was also very helpful in getting things set up and with the follow-up. Dr. Barrios and his staff will have you in the best hands. They are trustworthy and prompt with answers to all your questions. I was very satisfied with my treatment plan and the execution of the plan. They put me at ease. I highly recommend him for all of your surgical needs.

Great experience. From first phone call to walking in for first visit. Honest, helpful advice for pre-op then explaining surgery. Made me feel very comfortable. Much appreciated. Nurses were top notch and less pain after surgery felt than expected from others experiences. Surgery went well. Phone call day after was again very helpful and informative. Dr. Barrios and his staff was very helpful, courteous, friendly, understanding and listens to your concerns. They answered all my questions and made me feel at ease as well as making me feel like I am part of there family. This is the 3rd time I am using Dr. Barrios and staff because of how they are.
Everything with my surgery went smoothly. I didn’t have any complications. Dr. Barrios did a fantastic job.
