I would simply suggest to follow his pre surgery suggestions and do as he request after surgery for a speedy recovery , his bed side manners are great as he explains in ways every one should understand which is very important on such a scary experience
Very honest with patients condition and ensured that patient was pysically able to have surgery.
I have had several abdominal surgeries for various reasons, including adhesions. In the past, I have traveled very far to see specialists. I am so thankful that I took a chance on Dr. Barrios based on Google and other patient reviews for this last surgery. Very knowledgeable and up to date on surgical procedures. Additionally, the staff is wonderful and easy to work with. It was a Holiday weekend and the staff called to check on me. Don't hear of that happening often anymore. Very impressed!

Dr.Barrios saved my life on this day 8 years ago. I was in a very bad car accident and he was directly behind me when my car flipped 5 times. He called 911 and performed CPR on me until I was lifted to the exact same hospital he worked at.I had a lacerations to the lungs liver and stomach, broken ribs and shoulders. Dr.Barrios performed surgery on me.They said I would never walk,talkor even breathe on my own again.I'm healthy and would recommend him to anyone.Just want to say THANK YOU!God Bless
Great experience. Dr. Barrios removed my gallbladder. I did not need any pain medication after the surgery. The pain was bearable and the surgery was quick. Dr. Barrios took his time and answered any questions I had prior to surgery. I was recommended to Dr. Barrios by a close friend and after meeting him and completing surgery, I too recommend Dr. Barrios. Great surgeon with a easy going personality and a positive attitude. The staff at Dr. Barrios' office is great as well.
Dr. Barrios is a wonderful doctor. His demeanor puts you at ease and he has a great sense of humor. I felt very secure in his care and would highly recommend him as a surgeon. He listens to your concerns and preferences. His bedside manner is flawless. If I need to have surgery in the future I will most definetly choose Dr. Barrios. His staff is always friendly and helpful, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
Was referred for unexpected surgery. Great bedside manner. Hopefully won't need surgery again any time soon, but if so I will come back here.
This Dr and his staff are first class pro's. He explained everything before hand so no surprises. Could not have had a better experience. Well Done Doc
