Dauenhauer Plumbing came to my home to fix a leaking faucet and replace the cutoff valves under the sink. The representative did the installation and everything seemed fine at first. I paid more than $750 for the work and also paid $83 for the new faucet,sprayer, etc., which I had to go get myself. Next day I noticed one cutoff valve was leaking. Dauenhauer was a saving grace for our family. We purchased our first home and immediately had major plumbing issues. They came into the situation and worked with us to not only diagnose the problem but to fix it over a period of time. It was no easy task and our issues were likely too big for some plumbing companies. Attempted to schedule an estimate for an attic make over today. Was told i would have to wait in a 5 hours window of time to have someone show up. I work and cannot just take a day off work to wait for someone to show up during the day. Therefore, i will move on to another company.

Consumer, prepared to be ripped off. I was quoted $209 to install a basic sink faucet. I was charged $380 for the job. They charged me $172 for one supply line. I’ve used this company several times in the past...never again.

I am the plumbing superintendent of a large university.....recently I was approached by Dauenhauer about the possibility of performing work for us. As it happened it was time to renew my emergency contractors list. So I said sure and placed them as my primary emergency plumbing contractor. James ******* did a great job moving our washing machine pipes from an outer wall (where we had problems with freezing) to an inner adjacent wall. He was prompt and very professional.

You wrote a review for Dauenhauer Plumbing 8 minutes ago 1.0 star rating 4/8/2019 In January '19 a plumber from Dauenhauer installed a kitchen sink and faucet. He was using a heavier steel sink from the Dauenhauer warehouse, and a Moen faucet, which he said was a good quality brand and cited nothing unusual in the specs of the job. As he was preparing to leave I found it was very wiggly. He said he'd tried 3 times to stabilize it but couldn't get it solid. This plumbing company completed a vanity sink install, charging over $1400. I called less than 30 days after they installed the sink, complaining of leaking below the sink. I wanted a repair, expecting the company would fix an issue they just installed at my house, and believed they would honor this request. They were unwilling to consider the project under warranty, and this was not explained to me at the time of the install, as any other plumbing company provides warranty on their work. I just want to send a huge thank you for your company’s help with our plumbing problem. I especially want to thank the service man by the name of Jason who responded to our service call out of the Lexington office. I cannot thank him enough and thanks to him we will definitely use Dauenhauer plumbing for any future plumbing needs as well as be recommending them to family and friends.
