My experience with both the rude wait person and the sub-par brunch item I had, was not the same experience so many folks rave about. The Dash In not totally off my list just yet, but I will not recommend to others or rush back for another try.
Saturday, Nov 25th was the first time I ate at the Dash-In . Had an excellent lunch! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and our waitress was very efficient. The grilled cheese and tomato bisque was perfect!!! I definitely will dine there again!!!
We have been regulars for breakfast and lunch for quite some time...but after this morning...thinking twice about ever returning! I typically bring in my homemade strawberry jelly because the jelly provided has so many preservatives and really does not have much of a taste. Today after my run I was drinking an orange juice and entered the restaurant. I was told in no uncertain terms that what I was doing by bringing in food was not acceptable! And not to do it again!
Loved their Gourmet Grilled Cheese....tasted the Apricot Carmel Bread pudding and it was outstanding!
