Definitely would not recommend. Dr. Newfield performed emergency surgery on my feet which resulted in amputation of my great toe. Surgery and follow up were very sub par. On a follow up visit he suggested that I have my legs amputated up to the knees and get prosthetics so “I could get a nice pair of Nikes and look cool”. Needless to say that was my final visit with him. My new Orthopedic Doctor shows much more concern about my care and says the suggested amputations would have been pointless.
